From 21 to 23 October, the BMSD network will participate at the 10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting. This year the meeting will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, in Toronto, Canada. Visit us at the NPO Village in the Exhibition Hall, where the BMSD Network will organize an exhibition booth, alongside national MS registries, to showcase the initiative.

BMSD will organize its 2026 Annual Meeting in Genoa, on 25 and 26 September, at the headquarters of the Italian MS Foundation (FISM). Network members and pharmaceutical representatives will gather to review key network milestones, such as the latest updates regarding the EMA QO application and the ongoing harmonization of the BMSD CDM. A significant portion of the agenda will be dedicated to advancing collaborative research projects and addressing specific scientific initiatives.

From 24 to 26 September, the BMSD network will participate in the 41st ECTRIMS Congress at the CCIB – Barcelona International Convention Center, in Barcelona, Spain. Visit us at the NPO Village in the Exhibition Hall, where our stand will showcase the initiative and share the latest updates..

BMSD organized its Annual Meeting in Matera, Italy (18–19 September). The meeting was organized by the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Register (coordinated by Prof. Trojano and Prof. Battaglia), which acts as coordinating center of the BMSD Network, and was a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss the latest developments with Network members and pharma representatives.

Key topics on the agenda included:

• the recent submission for the EMA Qualification Opinion
• collection of specific data subsets (NMOSD, MOGAD, and PROs)
• the inclusion of new MS registries
• proposals for new academic projects

In parallel, the Workshop on Statistics “Advanced Statistical Methods for Observational Studies in MS” (19–20 September) gathered internationally renowned statisticians to share cutting-edge approaches for generating real-world evidence in MS.
